Dead Man’s Chest- Captain Jack Profile
Jack is back and this time he has a whole different problem ahead of him. He opens up the film by literally shooting a bird from inside a coffin which he failed to find any gold or treasure in. He uses the leg to paddle to shore where the crew of the Black Pearl is there to greet him. He finds a map of a key, not a key or an actual map just a map of a key which he must find. William Turner in an attempt to free him and Elizabeth (read their profiles for the reason why) finds Jack and asks for a mysterious compass that Jack posses, which he has told many times is “broken”. Jack tells him that the only way that he will give him that compass is if Will finds a way to get him that key which he believes opens some mysterious treasure. Will is only able to find Jack after hunting him down across the world on a Caribbean Island where Jack rules as a God over cannibals. However, he only rules as chief because the longer he rules, the later his execution will take place. He will be sacrificed to join the Gods. Jack is able to escape with a little help and luck. The key turns out belongs to the legendary Davey Jones whom locks his most prized possession in. Meanwhile, while Will is off with Davey Jones, Jack meets up Elizabeth (who has escaped due to some help from her father) and he does not tell her why Will is in the dilemma that he is in (or his role in it) , so Elizabeth gladly follows on the adventure. Once arriving at the place where the treasure is, Will joins the gang( to know what happened to him, read his profile) and Jack, Norrington (to know why he is there, read his profile), and Will sword fight over what they should do next (everyone has their own selfish motives) while Davey Jones crews catches up with them. After some chaos, everyone except Norrington is able to make it back to the little boat and back to the Black Pearl. Davey Jones crew attacks the Black Pearl in the midst while the Black Pearl is attacked by a giant squid (you have to see it to believe it). Jack rows away but midway, he rows back to accept his fate alongside the crew members. When forced to abandoned ship, the remaining members jump into a tiny rowboat to row away but one decides to change the group’s fate and make a decision, that leaves Jack’s life hanging by a thread.
