Black Pearl- Captain Barbossa Profile
Captain Barbossa is the current captain of the Black Pearl. He seized the ship from Jack in order to take the Aztec Gold Treasure. But unfortunately, the one man who they killed, was the key to gaining the treasure. Before that man died, however he cursed the ship, making all the pirates on the ship immortal. Not the good type of inmortal, the type where they turn into skeltons at night. Killing them was impossible but for them, living a life without touch, taste or feeling was horrible.
Captain Barbossa has a faithful companion, who is a monkey. He is very inconsiderate of others feelings and really likes wines and guns. However, sometimes he is rather dense. Like in the fact that he put Jack Sparrow ( yes the legendary one) on the same island twice, despite the fact that he survived it the first time. In the end, he gets all he’s ever wanted, blood running through his veins.
