Black Pearl- Will Turner Profile
“I practice three hours a day so that the day when a pirate comes into town, I can catch him”
William Turner is the dashing, love sick, swashbuckling Blacksmith who risks his life to save the women he loves. When the movie opened, we see him as the cute but sweet Blacksmith who gets butterflies in his stomach when the Governor’s daughter walks by. But later he proves that he is much more than the Town’s Blacksmith. One thing is, he is a fantastic sword fighter. We discover that he practices three hours a day when he makes the swords. He founds out that he is a Pirate, the one that Elizabeth rescued that night.
As the story goes on, Jack discovers who he truly is, he is the son of Pirate Bootsmith William Turner, the one whose blood needs to be on the last piece of Aztec gold in order for the pirates to be free of their curse. The last piece of Aztec gold is suppose to be his but Elizabeth took it to remove of any evidence that he was a pirate, so that the Governor ( her father) would grant him celibacy which she did.
When he discovers this, there was anguish between him and Elizabeth but that faded. He along with Jack, save Elizabeth and finally put an end to The Curse Of The Black Pearl.
